Did you think I died?

No, unlike Hunter S. Thompson, I did not sit in my cadillac and blow my brains out. Even if my Business Associations reading made me want to.

Sorry I haven't been updating. I HAVE been updating my personal blog quite a bit...which tells you my personal life has been far more interesting than my school life. Thank God.

We are on Week 8 and I'm a little freaked out about it. I've been pretty well keeping up with the reading and understanding stuff -- except Biz Ass which, honestly, I have no idea about. You would think the fact that I had worked in corporate communications for a major NYC corporation would have helped me understand the corporation in terms of statutes, form, etc. But it didn't. The Delaware Code can suck me.

Things with Ian (24 year old law school boy) are going very well and we had our first weekend away together. I have officially started referring to myself as his "girlfriend" which is a big step for me. I still don't know if he's "the one," but we are having a good time and I am loathe to analyze it too much.

It does, however, cut into my study time (and my TV-watching time) -- which is something to be careful about.

I put together a panel (sponsored by OutLaw) on Hate Crime at Loyola which will be Tuesday, March 8. We are having the LA Asst. District Attorney, my old boss from Anti-Violence Project, a woman from the Muslim Public Affairs Council and a guy from the Asian Pacific Legal Center. I am very excited about it and hope it turns out well. PILF is co-sponsoring with us and Office of Career Services is giving us some $$ because Graham loves me.

I still don't have a summer job which is start to FREAK ME OUT. I am considering doing the summer Civil Rights program in Costa Rica as a backup plan if I don't get a job. It is sometimes very depressing to me that all my years of working in the real world count for NOTHING when you are top 30%. God forbid I was only top 50%.

Lawyers are assholes.
